WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY FORM

You will NOT be permitted to play golf unless the waiver is signed.

All visitors and guests must sign a Waiver.

LIGHTNING POLICY

All golfers on the course or practice area must adhere to the Markham Executive Golf Course Policy of stopping play immediately and seeking shelter either on the course or coming back to the clubhouse when the horn is blown.

Play is resumed when the threat of lightning has passed and the Marshal allows you to proceed to play.

If the storm cell lasts a prolonged period of time and a golfer can not finish their round:

• 1 to 5 holes played when horn is blown – 18 hole rain check voucher
• 6 to 12 holes played when horn is blown – 50% OFF
• Past the 12th hole when horn is blown – your round is deemed to be complete

TEE OFF TIME CANCELLATION POLICY

Refunds will NOT be given on pre-booked ‘Tee off times’.

Tee Off Times pre-booked may be modified by telephone during business hours up to 24 hours prior to the reservation.

Please note: This is not a 24 hour automated service.

You may Not be able to cancel or change your requests.

Golfers constantly altering Pre-Booked Tee Off Times are subject to suspension of booking privileges and/or required to pay a $100 + applicable taxes reinstating administration fee.

TOURNAMENT CANCELLATION POLICY

Please refer to the terms and conditions on the Tournament Contact provided to you.

DRESS CODE

Golf attire, athletic or activewear are all perfectly acceptable (men’s tank tops & women’s short shorts are prohibited.) 

PACE OF PLAY

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled tee time and check-in at the Pro Shop.

You are required to keep up with the group ahead of you. Failure to do so could result in the Marshal instructing your group to skip a hole. 

ALCOHOL POLICY

No person under the age of 19 will be served alcohol.

No person who appears intoxicated will be served alcohol.

No person can bring their own alcohol onto Markham Executive Golf Course property.

If a guest is found with his/her own alcohol they will not be welcome back.

Markham Executive Golf Course have zero tolerance for any intoxicated guest who is disruptive or abusive to other guests or staff. Police will be called if necessary.

POWER CART AND PULL CART POLICY

Power Carts are first come first served.

Operators of Power Carts must have a valid G license.

GOLFERS RESPONSIBILITY

Golfers are responsible for any property damage or personal injury resulting from inappropriate action or conduct.

WARNING DANGER AHEAD. Please note you are entering the Markham Executive Golf Course property at your own risk. Be aware of flying golf balls. Golf balls traveling at high speeds throughout. Stay clear of golfers walking and driving carts. Be aware of High voltage Hydro Lines above. Be careful of uneven grounds, wet grounds, stay clear of holes in the ground throughout the golf course. Be aware of all water hazards.
